To obtain a marriage license, you must first complete the application. This can be done online or in-person! Once the application has been submitted and paid for, the license must be issued. The license is only good for 60 days from the date it is issued. After the marriage ceremony, the license must be returned within 10 days to the Seminole County Clerk of Court to be recorded in the official records of Seminole County. Please note that our office does not issue absentee marriage licenses and that both parties must be present (either in person or virtually) when applying for a license.
